A lovely journey of 150 kilometres following the Adige river on the trail of the ancient Via Claudia Augusta, dating back to Roman times. A pleasing succession of medieval villages, castles, Romanesque churches and lush orchards in the sun-kissed Val Venosta.

Eventcards include a one-day ticket for unlimited travel on the Merano-Malles railway line, as well as a full day’s bicycle and helmet rental.

You may purchase your eventcard from all bicycle rental offices located along the Venosta Valley line. Cards may also be purchased from any automatic ticket machine located at local tourist offices or from any other point of sale displaying the Integrated Transport Service logo.

Here and there you will have opportunities to combine a well-deserved rest with cultural attractions worthy of being seen. Truly sensational ones include for example the Laas marble quarry, the Chur castle with its well-stocked armoury, the Juval Castle, home of extreme climber Reinhold Messner. Art lovers should seize the opportunity to visit the church of St. Procolo at Naturno, with the oldest frescoes of the German speaking areas.

Mobilcard
The Mobilcard Südtirol allows you to travel across the entire South Tyrol Integrated Public Transport network.

Included in the network are:

South Tyrol railway network (as far as Trento, only regional trains)
Local bus networks
Renon, Maranza, San Genesio, Meltina and Verano cableways
Renon tram and Mendola funicular

These area-specific cards give you unlimited travel on public transport within a specific part of South Tyrol over a 7-day period. To this end, South Tyrol has been divided into three partially overlapping areas to provide the best network coverage.
