A true Martell Valley classic – and a touch of mountain magic within reach. From the parking area above Café Hölderle, the trail climbs steadily through meadows and larch forests to the Soyalm, surrounded by a panorama of glowing peaks and open sky. Those who wish to go higher can continue along the narrow path to the Elferspitze – a section requiring surefootedness and a head for heights, rewarded by one of the most breathtaking views in the valley.

At the summit, the gaze sweeps over the Martello Valley, and the gleaming glacier of the Zufrittspitze. The large summit cross, built in memory of the flood disaster, now stands as a symbol of strength and renewal. A place to breathe deeply and simply be.

The Soyalm welcomes you with hearty local dishes and warm smiles. Back in the valley, Café Hölderle is the perfect ending – homemade cakes, smooth coffee, and a hint of retro charm that turns every stop into a little moment of happiness.

A varied, at times steep ascent through larch woods and blooming alpine roses, a final secured section with a steel cable, and that sense of quiet awe that lingers at the top. From the summit, the view stretches endlessly – and the heart grows still.
