The digital South Tyrol Guest Pass is included with your stay. It allows you to travel freely and comfortably on public transport across South Tyrol:

• All four main railway lines
• Around 200 bus lines, including city, regional, and intercity routes
• Selected cable cars and funiculars (e.g., Ritten, Kohlern, Mölten, Vöran, Mendel Funicular)

You also get free access to selected seasonal activities. The pass is valid for your entire stay.

Sometimes plans change – here’s what applies:

• Up to 3 months before arrival: free cancellation
• 3 months to 1 month before arrival: 40% of the booking value
• 1 month to 1 week before arrival: 70% of the booking value
• In the last week, or in case of late arrival or early departure: 90% of the booking value

We recommend taking out travel insurance so you can stay relaxed even if the unexpected happens

Your room will be ready from 2 p.m. on your arrival day. On departure day, please check out by 10 a.m. so the next guest can enjoy a smooth arrival.

Yes, dogs are welcome at das Bergfrieden. Please let us know when booking. A daily fee of €20 applies.
 

Simple and flexible: your room will be cleaned on request. Just hang the cleaning sign on your door, and we’ll take care of the rest. You decide when and how thoroughly your room is cleaned during your stay: full service, light tidying, or no cleaning at all. All according to your rhythm and in the name of the environment.

Absolutely! The Martello Valley in the heart of Venosta Valley  is a true paradise for hikers. Many trails start right at the hotel – from relaxed walks to demanding mountain tours. Nordic walking poles, snowshoes, and backpacks are available to borrow, and e-bikes can be rented for € 20 per day.

Yes, free parking spaces are available directly at the hotel.  We also offer an electric car charging station – for a convenient and sustainable arrival.
