South Tyrol's first bearded vulture family in Martell

Gluderer family | Thursday, 23. April 2015 | 0 comments

Offspring of bearded vulture in the National Park Stelvio area! It is a small scientific sensation - the very first free-breeding bearded vulture in South Tyrol. 15 years after the exposure of a bearded vulture pair in Martell, a young bird was sighted, which was alternately fed by his parents. We are excited to see how it goes on and hope that we can sometimes observe the birds in the sky. The bearded vulture is the largest bird of prey in Europe.
